Production log 13 & 14

Graphics

When editing over the superimposed graphics , I decided to give the text some effect to make it more interesting.I chose a 'Type' style because it is associated with the work place which is the main theme I want to connote to my audience.

Music

I have also chosen the music I will be using for my footage which a link will be provided for in the youtube clip. The lyrics match the first scene rather well of the protagonist feeling alone which is what I am trying  to show to my audience as they begin to familiarize with the character.

Next week...

Next week I will upload my footage and start editing. The only issue I am concerned about is if  the music timing will be too long to match the footage length I have planned. If it does not , I can fade out the music at the end.

Production log 12

Graphics
This week we started to produce our graphics. We used a programme called LiveType.

I used this programme to choose my typography that will be used as superimposed graphics over my footage.

Props

I also made fake medication (shown above) which will be a prop used in my opening sequence for my main protagonist. This prop will be used to highlight the controversial theme of depression to set the dull mood that is commonly connoted with the British social realism genre.

Lighting

In terms of lighting , we have decided to keep it  lowkey with the exception of a lamp as a source of artificial lighting .The lowkey lighting will represent the mundane lifestyle and the lamp will be small with minute brightness to give the impression that there is not much availability for brightness both physically and mentally. However, when I edit I will be using a grey-blue colour pallette.
